Child Safety Precautions
Children are naturally inquisitive, wanting to explore and climb, some of the possible risks may not always be obvious at first glance.
Simple steps can be taken to keep your child safe and minimise risk!
Move cots, beds and furniture away from windows, so any adventurous climbers can not reach any cords or chains attached to blinds.
Ensure the relevant Child Safety devices are fitted to your blinds, and that any cords or chains are correctly restrained and do not pose a risk
should a child come into contact.
All blinds sold through Shade and Story are fitted with a child safety device in line with child safety legislation. Where cords or chains are
required to control blinds, restraining devices are always provided so that blinds can be fitted and the cords and chains restrained so they do not pose a risk.
Shade & Story also offer a range of inherently child safe blinds, that are not operated using cords or chains.
